About

Perth Wedding Celebrant, Victoria WheelerVictoria Wheeler didn’t just wake up one morning and decide that she wanted to be a Celebrant.  Like life itself, Victoria’s life journey has been jam packed full of experiences, education and learning that has paved the way for where she finds herself today………….as a Civil Celebrant.

And, when she looks back, she had for some time harboured an ambition to become a trainer or a presenter. A Bachelor of Arts in English Studies further developed her word smithing skills, Toastmasters and Rostrum and the Little Theatre Repertory Club in Bunbury, developed her presentation, dramatic  and dare I say, entertainment skills, and being an on-air reader on Community Radio station 9.90AM, a station set up to cater for the sight impaired,  gave her the opportunity for voice training.

What she has always had in triplicate is a big personality, confidence, a well developed sense of humour and endearing wit, a big smile and a love of people. That she has had an interesting and colourful life, and at times has chosen to take “the road less travelled” has  given her much wisdom, understanding, compassion and empathy. She has a magnetic blend of likeable earthiness and homespun philosophy on life, all topped off by a warm, caring generosity of spirit surely rare in any field of business.  An absolute joy and gold star with plenty of natural charisma. That she is modern and funky and young at heart,  only adds to her appeal and makes her a popular Celebrant of her time.

Victoria Wheeler, wedding dayAway from her work, she is a mother of two adult daughters, she is a sister, a much loved Aunty and faithful friend to those close to her.

Having found love herself,  the second time around in 2007,  she remarried in 2009 and has never been happier.  As a result of that, she has had first-hand recent experience in walking down the aisle and has had the experience of being a modern bride in situ, not some 30 years ago, as much has changed in that time.

And while Victoria may well, have “fallen in”,   to becoming a Celebrant, she is so happy she did.  She loves her work and it absolutely shows.
